    Orange Treats
On my Kitchen Aid there is a meat grinder attachment (heaven for bid) which I bought to make this childhood recipe.
    Sorry don’t have amounts.
Take one organic orange and squeeze all the juice out, what we want is the rest, the peel with its white under side.
Turn machine on with grinder attachment mounted.
Add raisins, dried prunes or apricots and orange peel and lots of walnuts.

The walnuts mellow out the strong flavors of the rest….be sure to not bury the orange
taste. With a fork blend your gound ingredients then shape into balls. Roll in chopped walnuts or leave plain. Yummm

What if you don’t have a Kitchen Aid? Vicki

    Hi Vicki,

You can also use a high powered blender or a good quality food processor to fine chop and combine all the ingredients. If they don’t combine the way you want, you can always try adding a nut butter. Best wishes!
